On November 30 the NA Standing Committees convened sittings.

The NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs moderated by Koryun Nahapetyan debated the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Approving the Statute of Garrison and Guard Services of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia,” which presented the RA Deputy Defense Minister Ara Nazaryan.

The latter also presented the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Approving the Statute of the Internal Forces of the RA Armed Forces.

The Committee also debated and endorsed the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Citizens not Passed Compulsory Military Service by the Violation of the Defined Order.”

The Committee Chairman proposed to hold parliamentary hearings on the theme “The Problems of the Security Sphere of the Road Traffic.” The Committee debated and approved by voting the proposal.

The NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs moderated by Mikayel Melkumyan debated the bill “On Administration of the Stae Duty.”

The RA Deputy Finance Minister Suren Karayan presented the bill “On Amending the RA Customs Code.”

The Committee made a decision to propose the National Assembly to organize the debates of the package of bills in 24 hours after the first reading.

The Committee also debated and endorsed the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Organization and Holding of Check-ups in the RA.”

The NA Standing Committee on Territorial Management and Local Self-Government moderated by Stepan Margaryan debated and endorsed a number of legislative initiatives for including in the draft laws of the agendas of the NA autumn session and the upcoming four-day sittings.

The Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Kamo Areyan presented the bill “On Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements.”

He also introduced the package of bills “On Amending the RA Law on Local Duties and Payments,” “On Amending the RA Law on Local Self-Government in the City of Yerevan” and bill “On Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements.”

The Committee debated in the second reading the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Community Service.”
